On Saturday March 15, the artist Nylda gave a painting workshop. Some of the artist’s work was exhibited in Across the Nile, an exhibit of women artists, which took place from February 15 until April 15 2008.

During three hours, workshop participants were able to learn the basic principles of painting: chromatic wheel, perspective, composition, shadows and light. The learning painters (some of whom were more advanced than others) enjoyed very much the workshop. According to them, the experience was relaxing and pleasant and they were very happy to bring back home their beautiful work.
